Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz announced the tragic and ‘unexpected’ death of beloved chihuahua Nala via Instagram on Saturday.
David and Victoria’s eldest son, 25, shared an emotional tribute to his network, quickly followed by his actress, 29, who said ‘life couldn’t get any worse’ amid her grief following the death of late grandmother Bunny month.
Nicola explained how Nala, who she adopted from a shelter, struggled to breathe and had to be rushed to the vets where she sadly died.
Penning: ‘This was the most difficult month of my life. I can’t even find the words to describe my heartbreak on so many levels. Nala was hyperventilating and couldn’t catch her breath.’
‘We rushed her to the vet and hours later she died, her life taken far too soon. She was my beautiful queen and stayed by my side for nine years, through everything.”

Before adding, “1 day without Nala on earth feels like an eternity. I wish I could have her in my arms again. I pray she is with my Naunni. I hope I see them soon’.
While Brooklyn wrote: “Dear Nala, we miss you so much. You were unexpectedly taken from us far too soon.”
“You were the cutest little girl and we will always remember you. We know you’re watching us and barking. x We love you so much and miss you out there.”
The animal-loving couple, who married in a lavish $3.5 million ceremony in April 2022, also own a white puppy named Lamb after losing dog Bear in August last year.
Last month, Brooklyn shared a sweet tribute to Nicola’s late grandmother Bunny as he posted an album of memories on Instagram.
Bunny was Nicola’s maid of honor at their wedding in 2022 and she passed away at the age of 95.
In the post, he thanked the eldest, whom the family also called Naunni, for teaching him to “find the joy in everything” and “make everyone laugh.”
Posting a series of touching moments between the two of them, Brooklyn vowed to care for her granddaughter and confessed that it was an “honor” to be her grandson for four years.

‘You were the sweetest and happiest person ever and you taught me to find joy in everything. Thank you for always making everyone smile, you have made the lives of everyone whose lives you have touched infinitely better.
‘I am so lucky to have had the honor of being your grandson for the past four years x I promise to look after Nicola and your family x I will miss you so much x I love you so much xxxxxxx’.
