Brittany Mahomes has responded to online critics of her political leanings after she was spotted liking a post by Donald Trump on social media.
Brittany, who has been married to Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes since 2022, responded to the online outrage with a post on her Instagram Story on Friday.
Instagram users initially noticed that the mother of two had liked a post from Trump about 16 of his policies, which he shared with his 26.3 million followers. The posts ranged from immigration to the economy.
“Honestly, as an adult, to be a hater, you have to have deep-seated issues that you don’t want to heal as a child,” Brittany said in response to criticism from liberals.
“There’s no reason why your brain should be fully developed and you should be upset to see others doing well,” she added.

Brittany isn’t the only NFL personality who may be supporting Trump, as the former president was spotted with two Raiders players on Friday.
Former NFL running back Herschel Walker, best known for his playing days with the Dallas Cowboys in the mid-to-late 1980s, is also a Trump fan. Walker co-chaired the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition during the Trump administration.
