Controversial comedian Bill Maher claimed that the man who tried to assassinate former President Donald Trump had done “so much damage to the left” just two hours after the shooting.

He joked that “when” the 81-year-old steps down, he will choose August 9 as the date — the same day Richard Nixon became the only president to step down in 1974.
