Aubrey Plaza says she has yet to watch her season of The White Lotus due to password issues with her HBO Max account.
“I still haven’t done it, but I definitely will,” said the 40-year-old actress, who played Harper Spiller in the series’ second season, which airs in late 2022.
Plaza, speaking to the The Wall Street Journal Tuesday said there was some confusion regarding her streaming account.
“Honestly, I had a hard time getting into my HBO Max account when I originally wanted to watch it,” Plaza said. “I couldn’t figure out the password, and I usually just give up when I can’t figure out the passwords. I just can’t deal with stuff like that.”
Plaza, who plays Wow Platinum in Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming film Megalopolis, said she would be “amazing” to have a DVD of the series.

“They don’t send DVD sets anymore,” the Wilmington, Delaware-born star said. “I ask them every time.”
Plaza, who received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in creator Mike White’s popular series, said she identified with her character Harper, a lawyer married to business magnate Ethan Spiller (William Sharpe).
“I mean in a lot of ways — not all ways,” Plaza said. “She was a lawyer, like my mother, and there were some connections there.”
Plaza, who worked on Parks and Recreation from 2009 to 2015, said that while filming the new season of the series, she dined as if she were actually on vacation in Italy, since production took place in Taormina, Sicily.
Plaza said she ate “so much linguine and clams” during production and joked that White “demanded” that the actors eat large amounts of pasta as “some kind of psychological conditioning.”
The cast of the critically acclaimed second season of the lavish series included Jennifer Coolidge, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Haley Lu Richardson, Adam DiMarco and Meghann Fahy.

“I was trying to watch Top Chef season 20,” she said. “Couldn’t figure out how to f***ing get Hulu + Live. I give up! I can’t. I just can’t. And so what I like to do is go on iTunes and buy old movies.
“Or I go on iTunes and just buy the entire Sopranos series, and then my husband is like, ‘You can literally watch that for free on HBO Max.’”
The third season of the series, which premieres next year, is set in a resort in Thailand.
The cast includes Natasha Rothwell (who appeared in the first season), Walton Goggins, Scott Glenn, Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Blackpink’s Lisa (Lalisa Manobal), Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, and Tayme Thapthimthong.
Other cast members include Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Aimee Lou Wood, Nicholas Duvernay, Francesca Corney, Arnas Fedaravicius, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi and Shalini Peiris.
