Ashley Tisdale says she’s ‘ready’ to have her baby, saying she’s been dealing with morning sickness for three weeks.
On Friday, the 39-year-old High School Musical star took to Instagram to express her dismay over her “exhaustion,” explaining that her adenovirus infection had turned into a sinus infection.
She said she “can’t wait to have the baby” as she is in her third trimester, but she also said she has more preparations to do before she can give birth.
“I’m exhausted. I’m ready to have this baby but not done yet,” she captioned a photo of herself lying in bed with a weary expression on her face.
Then she wrote to her baby: ‘I still have to wallpaper the room and organize everything, so don’t come yet!’

She continued, “BUT I have been sick for three weeks with the adenovirus that has turned into a sinus infection.”
Adenovirus infections, which can be mild to severe, usually affect the respiratory system and symptoms can resemble those of a common cold or flu, the Cleveland Clinic.
“My whole body aches and I literally can’t wait to get that baby out,” she added. “I think they make the last month so hard, so you’re willing to throw yourself into something that would normally be so scary, but you do it anyway.”
In the photo, it appeared she was also in bed, curled up in a cocoon of soft pillows.
Although she was resting, her eyes were wide open in her selfie.
She had a pregnancy glow, but her cheeks also seemed red.
The actress is currently expecting her second child with her husband Christopher French and they already have their first child together, three-year-old daughter Jupiter.

On Monday, Tisdale humorously and honestly captioned an Instagram post that showed her posing next to an orange tree while holding her baby bump.
“Name something that isn’t an Olympic sport but should be: the third trimester,” she captioned her photo series.
In the snaps, Tisdale wore a cute white top with pleated sleeves and low-cut jeans, her belly visible beneath the summery top.
The former Disney Channel host also shared a real moment on her Instagram Stories.
She shared a photo of herself with her hair slicked back and up and her hand on the side of her face.
“You forget what the end of pregnancy feels like. Heartburn, everything hurts, feet start to swell and insomnia,” she wrote.
“I try to remind myself that I’m almost there, but I’m too tired to believe it,” she added.
