Arizona Cardinals leave fans divided after revealing new snack on social media

The Arizona Cardinals are bringing a touch of culinary creativity to their home games next season with the introduction of a dazzling new treat: the Cotton Burrito.

This innovative snack will debut at State Farm Stadium in September, combining the playful appeal of cotton candy with the hearty satisfaction of a classic burrito.

The Cotton Burrito aims to melt fluffy cotton candy around a traditional burrito filling. It’s a playful take on stadium food that promises fans a unique and unforgettable taste experience.

The cotton candy adds a sweet surprise to the savory elements of the burrito, creating an unexpected but delicious flavor combination.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Cotton Burrito as we look to make game day even more fun for our fans,” said Jessica Martinez, Cardinals Vice President of Fan Engagement.

All ingredients are then wrapped in cotton candy

The Cardinals have received mixed reactions on social media for their latest culinary invention

“Our goal is to provide something different and exciting that makes the overall experience more enjoyable.”

The Cotton Burrito will be available at various points of sale throughout the stadium. Fans can choose from a variety of burrito fillings, from Skittles and M&Ms to Pebble Cereal, all wrapped in a vibrant layer of cotton candy.

Fans have already had mixed reactions on social media, as the Cardinals encouraged fans to capture and share their Cotton Burrito moments with a special hashtag.

“Wait a minute, what? Candy wrapped in cotton candy? Awesome,” one fan wrote on X.

“See you in week 2,” someone else said, while another user posted: “Looks as unhealthy as it tastes.”

In contrast, one fan warned that “record numbers of people in Arizona have developed diabetes” while ridiculing the Cardinals’ new snack.

“My pancreas hurts,” someone else commented on X, while another said, “I think I have diabetes just looking at it.”

“This looks disgusting,” said someone else.

Cardinals fans, remember to check your insulin levels after you leave State Farm Stadium for games next season.
