Nearly a month after Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval filed a shocking lawsuit against his ex, Ariana Madix briefly addressed the lawsuit.
Madix, 39, was sued in July by Sandoval, 40, alleging that on March 1, 2023, he accessed his phone without his consent and viewed explicit videos and photos of him and his mistress Rachel Leviss, ultimately ending their nearly nine-year relationship.
The indictment also alleges that Madix made copies of the videos and shared them with others without his consent.
Just one day later, Sandoval dropped the lawsuit and fired his attorney Matt Geragos, whom he “misled” about the filing.
Madix has not spoken publicly about the lawsuit, but she did appear on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday and spoke briefly about it.

The Love Island USA host was asked by a fan whether she believes Sandoval’s claim that the lawsuit was his lawyer’s fault and that he had no intention of suing her.
Madix just shrugged and smiled. When host Andy Cohen asked her about her reaction and if she was angry, she said, “It was a really bad day.”
On July 19, Sandoval posted a message on Instagram explaining that he never intended to sue his ex.
“Late Tuesday afternoon, my attorney, Matt Geragos, whose advice I trusted, called me about the counter-complaint in the lawsuit against me and Ariana,” he said.
“He assured me that the measure was customary and strictly preventive in this type of litigation and urged me to agree to it,” Sandoval added.
“The words ‘New Lawsuit’ or ‘Sue’ were not spoken to me. I should have done more due diligence on the matter. When I realized what this action actually entailed, I removed Matt Geragos from my legal team,” he added.
“I am not going to sue Ariana in any way. The action that was brought on my behalf against Ariana is being dropped. I had no ill will or vengeance towards Ariana,” Tom insisted.
“Now that we have withdrawn both the countersuit and the attorney who recommended it, I hope to conclude this matter quickly so Ariana and I can finally MOVE ON with our lives,” he concluded.
Madix was also asked if she had any contact with Tom Schwartz and she said, “No.” When asked if she had spoken to Scheana Shay, she said, “Here and there, yeah.”
When asked if their “friendship took a big hit after the reunion,” Madix admitted, “Yes, but there’s a lot of love too.”
“And I’m very happy. She just won a prize for her story about her postnatal OCD. I thought that was really beautiful.”
Madix just shrugged and smiled, and when host Andy Cohen asked her about her reaction and if she was angry, she said: “It was a really bad day.”

She also denied rumors that her VPR colleague and close friend Katie Maloney was dating Love Island USA’s Conor Newsum, and rumors that she set them up.
“Katie’s not in a relationship with anyone. And I’ve never played matchmaker with Katie. So. Yeah,” Ariana said.
