Video of Judge Judy attacking a defendant who claimed to be an animal activist has gone viral.

In the video, the former family court judge, who achieved great success with her television reality show, tries a case involving a woman who was babysitting a pet.

The plaintiff, Susan, explained that she had gone on vacation for two weeks and left her four small, beloved dogs in the care of the defendant, Kerry.

While she was away, one of the four was killed when he dug under a fence and was hit by a car while crossing the street.

Susan took the case to Judge Judy to seek $5,000 from the pet sitter, alleging wrongful death of the animal and harassment.

Kerry admitted that the escape and subsequent death of the dog happened right before her eyes, claiming that she was in the backyard of the house where she was staying when it happened, but did not believe she was responsible for the costs.

‘You are so stupid! You’re so stupid,” Judge Judy told Kerry as she summarized the case.

During their conversations, Kerry continued to interrupt Judge Judy and did not seem to understand the seriousness of the situation.

“Let’s say instead of looking at her Shih Tzu-Poodle mix, you were looking at four of her children while she was on vacation,” Judge Judy tried to explain.

“And you let the four kids play in the backyard — and one of the kids, who was four, managed to open the gate and get out, ran across the street and was hit and killed by a car.

‘There is a course of action for this in human law. She can sue you for negligence because you failed to supervise her four-year-old son.

‘So I don’t know what it is. I can’t tell you, but you’re not an animal activist. Because an animal rights activist understands that if you are responsible for a four-year-old child, even if it was an accident, it happened under your watch.”

Judge Judy and Kerry had some heated arguments, with the defendant trying to argue her position.

One moment, Judge Judy snapped and said, “You know, sometimes the verdict has to reflect the stupidity of a litigant—and while there is no course of action, I’m going to hear her testimony regarding your harassment—because you’re being harassed and I am not easily harassed,” which appears to refer to a countersuit filed by Kerry alleging harassment.

The pair clashed again over whether the dog was considered property.

“But animals are considered property?” Kerry interjected.

“Shut up and listen!” Judge Judy responded, growing increasingly impatient.

“In the state of California, animals are considered property,” Kerry interrupted again.

‘A moment!’ Judy answers. “Well, that’s what I told you. I said that if you were a real animal rights activist, you wouldn’t consider animals as property.’

“I don’t, but the law does,” Kerry responds.

“That’s what I just said to you. If you weren’t so high on something, maybe you’d understand,” Judy says, growing increasingly frustrated.

Ultimately, Kerry was ordered to pay $1,500 in damages to the dog’s owner, Susan, for the loss of her pet.
