Aldi fans across Australia were shocked to see a variety of British snacks in the popular ‘Special Buys’ aisle.

Natalia, from Sydney, came across the products in a recent store and was in disbelief.

“I’m really going to cry,” she said in a video as she held up a packet of Smith’s Prawn Cocktail crisps, a sub-brand of Walkers.

‘My parents are in England at the moment and are bringing some parcels with them. Now I have more, which I am so happy with.’

Natalia also raved about the cheese, pickles and Worcestershire sauce flavored chips. Customers can also get their hands on bags of Galaxy Minstrels and Little Rolo chocolate.

Aldi Australia has launched a range of British snacks for a limited time

Emily, who is from Britain but now lives in Melbourne, managed to pick up the snacks that reminded her of home.

‘Every Brit is rushing to Aldi right now and this is why. “I’ve missed British chocolate so much,” she said in a TikTok video.

“I don’t even like shrimp cocktail chips, but I know everyone is going to get these.”

Both videos have since captured the attention of the masses with hundreds hoping to get their hands on a treat.

“No one in my Aldi – so disappointed,” one person wrote.

“I live in the outback, we don’t have Aldi and I’m devastated,” said another.

A third wrote: ‘I’ve been looking for prawn cocktail chips for eight years! My local better have some or my heart will break.”

But others wondered if the snacks could be purchased elsewhere year-round.

‘Isn’t there a Reject Shop in Melbourne? Constantly has loads of chocolate and sweets from Britain,” one person wrote.

Last month, shoppers spotted bars from Tony’s Chocolonely in the Special Buys section and were shocked by the $4.99 price tag.

The cult favorite chocolate, which hails from the Netherlands, drove customers wild last year after launching in Coles and Woolworths for $8 each.

“$4.99, seriously? They have strawberry cheesecake with white chocolate and a brownie with dark milk chocolate,” Gemma said in a TikTok video.
