Abbie Chatfield revealed on Sunday the one big assumption people often make about her — and she hates it.
The former Bachelor star, 29, said many fans and critics believe she is a “chronic oversharer” due to her very open sex-positive attitude, reported Body+Soul.
She is often heard sharing explicit sexual experiences on her It’s A Lot podcast, but says it ‘sucks her’ when someone says she talks too much about her sex life.
“Every time I’m announced as a ‘chronic oversharer’ it makes me angry, because what is ‘oversharing’ anyway?” she said.
‘To me it feels so dated and unnecessary to pretend that talking about sex and relationships is brave or taboo.
‘Times have changed, and that’s a good thing. A big reason why many people struggle with their sexual relationships is because they don’t know how to talk about sex in a healthy and confident way.”
The media personality went on to say that she only shares “five percent” of her life stories and takes great care to leave out details that could identify people.
She added that she does not recount her explicit experiences as “provocative without reason,” but rather to inform and entertain her listeners.

It comes after Abbie and her musician boyfriend Adam Hyde were criticized for their X-rated performance in a music video for Adam’s new song, Online Jesus.
The clip features the social media star and her rock star boyfriend locked in a series of steamy scenes that take the world of internet dating to the next level.
The song is for Keli Holiday, a side project of Adam, one half of the Australian electronic duo Peking Duk.

Ahead of the video’s release on October 10, Adam took to the Keli Holiday Instagram account to share a sneak peek of the music video.
It shows close-up footage of Adam seductively licking his girlfriend’s outstretched tongue.
It seems the brutal act was too much for some fans.
One fan said the PDA really freaked them out: “I just opened Instagram and was shocked by two wet tongues looking at me.”

According to a statement from Adam prior to the video’s release on October 10, there was plenty of “naughty goings on” behind the scenes.
“We had the time of our lives making out and feeling each other up between takes, just like teenagers at school,” he said.
‘She [Abbie] is a powerhouse and it is an honor to have her on board for this.’
Adam co-created the song with Australian musician Alex Cameron.
