“Terror man. Chip Chapman” – Martin Daubney committed blunder while reading headlines for breaking news on GB News.
Hard to know if my favourite bit is him saying “We’re going straight to me”, “THE TERROR MAN” or “Fuck, it’s all gone wrong”.

Daniel Khalife had been found in Chiswick and apprehended by police. Martin Daubney here on GB News #GBNews making an absolute horlicks of this important breaking news. It’s like a parody of amateur it’s that bad!

Needless to say, he was not, as Daubney mixed up the order of guests.

“It’s Chip Chapman, we have Chip Chapman, army for the army and former head of counter-terrorism, Major-General Chip Chapman,” he clarified.

After receiving the news Khalife had been arrested, Martin referred to him as “the terror man”.

“First, it’s the news headlines… no it’s not,” he began. “We’re going straight to me, this is breaking news, this is fast and happening.”

The GB News star hesitated before he continued: “Because as we just said… erm… we… apprehended… the terror man.”

He continued: “It’s here. Chip Chapman, we have him coming up soon on the arrest of the terror suspect. He escaped from Wandsworth prison, he has been apprehended, it’s all coming up on GB News, with our first guest.

“Here it is, police have escape- have arrested prisoner Daniel Khalife. Beg your pardon, we’ll get the autocue in the right place, this story is just happening.

“Joining me now for the latest is GB News home security editor Mark White. Are you there, Mark?”
