While the suspect was taken away from the area by Special Operations police, the crowded group overturned the vehicles belonging to foreign nationals and set fire to workplaces.
In the statement made by Kayseri Governorship, it was announced that a foreign national was detained by the police units as a result of harassment behavior towards a young foreign national child in Danişmentgazi District. In the statement stating that the child was taken under protection, “The issue is being followed meticulously by us, and it is respectfully submitted to the public that our citizens should act with restraint and not engage in any action other than the statements made by the official authorities.” It was said.
Provincial Police Chief Atanur Aydın also came to the region and made a statement, saying, “You have shown your reaction. We understand you, we have received your message. Any action you take from now on will be about you. The victim here is not Turkish. The suspect is currently in custody. There does not seem to be any problems with the victim’s health.
