Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Mikey Williams has beaten his case as he’s seen rejoicing while leaving the courtroom.
In addition, Williams is banned from possessing any firearms. If and when all terms are satisfied, Williams’s felony charges will be reduced to a misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, Williams got into an argument just before midnight on March 27 and fired several gunshots at a car that was leaving his house in Jamul. The bullets hit the car, but nobody inside was injured, authorities said.
He was charged with five counts of assault with a weapon and one count of firing into an occupied vehicle. Those charges could have resulted in 28 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

The other new charges are two counts of making threats that could result in great bodily injury or death, also stemming from testimony at the hearing. Two teens, who were identified by only their first names because they are minors, told the court that Williams threatened them.
“(Expletive), I will shoot you,” one girl testified Williams told her. “You need to leave now if you don’t want a bullet through your car and through your head.”
