Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Matheus Nunes bent finger goes viral on Twitter.
Fans were left horrified at the abnormal angle of Nunes’ middle finger on his left hand with one X (formerly known as Twitter) user writing: “Quick recovery, absolutely no player deserve such injury” while another user added: “Damn. Football ain’t easy man”.
Manchester City’s medical staff ran on to treat the £53million summer signing from Wolves, who also got injured earlier in the season following a spectacular overhead kick attempt.
They immediately got to work on the digit and strapped it up.
However, Nunes was unable to continue and was subbed off for youngster Micah Hamilton.
But squeamish fans flooded social media with messages after witnessing the nasty injury – including plenty wishing him a speedy recovery.
