Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Lady, Greatness Olorunfemi A.T, died after being pushed out of a moving car by one chance driver and rejected at Maitama General Hospital due to police report.

A witness identified as West Robinson, narrated in a video, with the victim lying on the floor, that he and some bystanders had rushed her to the hospital, where she died after being denied treatment.

The YALI network says it will leave no stone unturned as it seeks justice for its member, Ms. Greatness Olorunfemi, and other Nigerians who have lost their lives in the hands of criminals.

Ms. Olorunfemi was murdered by the ‘one chance’ syndicate who reportedly pushed her out of a moving vehicle along the Maitama-Kubwa arterial highway, Abuja on Tuesday, the 26th of September 2023.

The Coordinator YALI Network Abuja, Ms. Moyosoluwa Oladayo while condoling the family, described Ms. Olorunfemi as a dedicated and committed member of the network. He said police officers arrived at the hospital in a Hilux van with another victim stabbed in the head after boarding a cab to Kubwa.

“This same hospital, Maitama General Hospital, refused to take this man. In fact, what happened yesterday, the 26th of September, was like chaos, so the policemen were all angry and said they should take the man to the national hospital, so they left, so while we were still there, they brought another victim again that has been stabbed and attacked by these one chance people,” Mr Robinson added.

When contacted, The Gazette’s reporters were asked to seek approval from the management board through a letter before information on the incident could be shared.

Meanwhile, DSP Josephine Adeh, the police spokesperson for FCT, said an investigation was ongoing into the rejection of the victims by the health facility.
Ms. Oladayo said; “the unfortunate event that led to Greatness death is a testament to the rising insecurity in Abuja.

She called on the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike, the National Assembly, and relevant security agencies in the country to prioritise the safety of Abuja residents.

Ms. Oladayo also said; “an investigation should to launched to ensure that those responsible are brought to book.”

She noted that according to the viral video and audio from good Nigerians who rushed late Ms. Olorunfemi to the Maitama General Hospital Emergency section, she was rejected and not attended to even when she died, they refused to admit the corpse in their morgue.
