In the tapes, the married father of three children could be seen having sex with a male member of his church. He has been relieved of his church responsibilities as a result.

After being first leaked on July 24, the videos swiftly gained popularity via church-related WhatsApp groups. The church administration decided to suspend the pastor from all activities on the same day. Since then, the state Civil Police has been requested by the Public Ministry of the State of Acre (MPAC) to conduct an inquiry into the criminal act of sharing private films online without the subjects’ agreement.
The guidance counselor who was the other man in the recordings has denied any knowledge of the leak. Since the tapes went viral, both guys have experienced threats, verbal abuse, and marginalization.
The scandal has shocked Acre’s Christian community to its core. The pastor is seen having consensual sex with the guidance counselor and other people in at least six of the released recordings. Numerous responses have erupted on social media in response to the s3xual content.

Social media users have reacted in a variety of ways. Some have expressed outrage, while others have criticized the church for what they see as hypocrisy. “When I say that these church people are no good!” tweeted one person. It is present! The irony of a religious figure preaching morality and sin being embroiled in such a scandal has been noted by many. “I believe that exposing hypocrite individuals who preach about immorality and sin from the pulpit but do not do these things themselves is a very well-done task. This kind of Christian is prevalent in the church, a user noted. “A very big and shiny ring showing how much he loves his wife,” another person said.
Although the pastor’s and guidance counselor’s identities are still unknown, the community is still feeling the effects of the released videos. The church and its adherents deal with the aftermath of this extremely uncomfortable discovery while the investigation continues.
