Willy Paul was arrested on cyberbullying charges, according to Caroline Giseve, a lawyer who represents musician Diana Bahati.Â
Giseve told reporters shortly after the singer’s arrest that the arrest was the result of Willy Paul repeatedly failing to appear despite multiple summons.
“The same thing happened last year. If something happens to me you just know it is the people in uniform and they’re outside my house right now!!” he wrote in an Instagram post which he deleted afterwards.
