Well, the cat apparently is out of the bag.
A story in the Messenger says Kelce and Swift have “linked up.”
The Messenger’s Lanae Brody and Christina Dugan Ramirez wrote: “Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out. She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago.”
That story set social media afire. Again.
Taylor Swift is at the center of more romance rumours, with a report claiming that she’s been spending time with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Travis Kelce.
According to The Messenger, Kelce, who led the Kansas City Chiefs to victory at this year’s Super Bowl, and Swift have been seeing each other.
“Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out,” a source told the outlet. “She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago.”
In July, Kelce tried — and failed — to pass his phone number to Swift ahead of a stop on the singer’s record-breaking Eras Tour.
During an episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said he made a bracelet for the show with the digits of his phone number on the beads.
The two-time Super Bowl champ wanted to gift the homemade jewelry to the pop star ahead of her Kansas City show at Arrowhead Stadium in July, but unfortunately for him, Swift didn’t take the bait.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce explained on the podcast.
In fact, it was back in July that Kelce expressed his desire to meet Swift when, during an episode of the “New Heights podcast with his brother and fellow NFL QB Jason Kelce, her revealed he’d made her a gift: a bracelet that contained his phone number.
During the podcast, reported the New York Post, Kelce discussed his plan to present her with the bracelet when she played Kansas City during her Eras tour, but revealed he was unable to get backstage and see her.
