The beginning spark of this journey ahead, a path of uncertainty however was brought about by the 2-time Olympian herself.
Simone Biles’ first text brought a continued momentum between the two. According to Owens, the two texted back and forth that day, and a couple of days later, they were hanging out together. The COVID situation and Jonathan Houston Texans’ contract further kept them together.

But mid-way, Owens was asked about one of the most significant parts of his life: his relationship with Biles. One of the two hosts asked how had Owens ever managed to pull Simone Biles. To which the Packers’ safety initially replied, “It’s really about how she pulled me,” before going on to explain further. “I had been on the app for a couple of days, and it’s like she pops up. And I’m like let me see who this is, gymnastics. I ain’t never paid attention to gymnastics so it piqued my curiosity.” And when Owens took a break from the app for a couple of minutes, he came back to Instagram likes and a message.
