Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that OCS Samson Kipchirchir Kipruto shot Monica Kivuti in her thigh at Makadara Law Courts after sentencing wife to life imprisonment.
Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) officers cordon the crime scene at Makadara Law Courts, Nairobi, where a police officer shot Principal Magistrate Monica Kîvuti on the hip and hand. Police gunned down the suspect as emergency service providers rushed the magistrate to hospital.Â
Chief Inspector Samson Kipchirchir Kipruto, 55 was shot and killed by his colleagues at the court on Thursday afternoon soon after he had attacked and wounded the principal magistrate Monica Kivuti.
He had travelled from his workstation in Londiani, Kericho to attend a court case where his ailing wife Jenniffer Wairimu, 48, was an accused.
