A case filed in Milimani High court reveals a secret plan by the Government to purchase a spying system to enable President William Ruto’s communication team  save his reputation.

The spy software was to spy on journalists & media houses, opposition politicians and Kenyan social media outlets while helping the presidential team develop counter opinions to save his reputation ahead of 2027. READ MORE HERE

The deal has backfired and the Woman at the center of the deal is now in court demanding compensation for breach of contract. The woman who wanted to develop a software to manage president Ruto’s communication is also a scammer and I am glad she lost that money.

In a move to address the alarming frequency of accidents on Lake Victoria, President William Ruto has announced a Sh2.7 billion initiative to improve safety and rescue operations on the lake.

The announcement was made during the opening of the fourth African Sub-Sovereign Governments Network (AfSNET) Conference in Kisumu.

The funds will be used to establish a Lake Victoria Rescue and Coordination Center, along with five strategically located rescue centers across Busia, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, and Migori counties.

The initiative is aimed at reducing the approximately 5,000 lives lost annually in the lake due to inadequate infrastructure and emergency response systems.

“We are committing Sh2.7 billion to ensure that accidents on Lake Victoria are attended to in record time. This investment will support the ecosystem around the lake and secure the livelihoods of those who depend on it,” said President Ruto.

The new facilities will feature state-of-the-art equipment, including rescue boats, ambulances, evacuation helicopters, and an operational coordination hub.

The Kisumu-based facility will also house a security control center, a communication room, and a 24-hour distress response system, ensuring comprehensive emergency services for lake users.

Kenya Maritime Authority Director-General Martin Munga detailed the center’s capabilities, highlighting plans for toll-free emergency numbers and constant communication systems to respond to distress calls.

The person who was to make that software said it would  delete negative tweets. Like how do you delete negative posts from someone’s account? This was a big scam being executed by Ng’eno to swindle taxpayers
