Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Erisco Foods gets Chioma Egodi Jnr arrested after she posted on Facebook post about Nagiko Tin Tomato containing much sugar.Â
Taking to social media, popular Nigerian journalist, Pidomnigeria, revealed that Chioma Egodi Jnr instantly got arrested by Erisco Foods Limited after she posted about its product having sugary content.
Pidomnigeria wrote: “See the CEO and owner of ERISCO @EriscoFoodsLtd. CHIEF ERIC UMEOFIA.Â
He ordered for the arrest of
CHIOMA EGODI, a customer who did a harmless post on Facebook, after using NAGIKO tin tomatoes produced by Erisco Foods Ltd.
Boycott all Erisco products.
“They twisted her Facebook post, just to get her arrested. They want to use the Nigerian police @PoliceNG to charge her for cyber bullying, and cyber stalking, for making an honest observation on Facebook.Â
We demand justice for CHIOMA EGODI. Â

Chioma Egodi Jnr wrote:Â “I went to buy tin tomatoes yesterday that I will use to make stew. I didn’t see Gino and Sonia. So I decided to buy this one. When I opened it. I decided to taste it. Omo. Sugar is too much. Haa biko, let me know before because this is Ike gwuru situation.”
Erisco Foods Limited has released a statement, stating that that wasn’t the reason she got arrested.
