Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Dior REPLACED Bella Hadid with an ISRAELI model, Mai Tager, in latest campaign.

The hashtag “#BoycottDior” has been trending on social media especially on X, formerly known as Twitter, since the announcement of the French company of replacing the Palestinian model Hadid with Israeli model Mai Tager.

A netizen posted: “The worst fashion decision taken so far! I’ll reevaluate my luxury purchase too! Hope a lot will follow!”

Bella Hadid loses Dior contract over her support of Palestine and her standing against the genocide by Israel. Dior then replaced her, a half-Palestinian, with an Israeli model.

I truly hope she sticks to her guns, despite the injustice & pressure in the industry. Hadid emphasised the importance of speaking out against violence and injustice, stating, “The people and children of Palestine, especially in Gaza, cannot afford our silence. We are not brave – they are.”

She went on to express her deep concern for the suffering in the region, acknowledging the trauma faced by Palestinians and calling for global solidarity. “My heart is bleeding with pain from the trauma I am seeing unfold, as well as the generational trauma of my Palestinian blood,” Bella said.

Dior’s decision to replace Bella Hadid is said to be a strong call by the company that it stands with Israel; highlighting that Bella is a very pro-Palestinian activist who speaks out about Israeli aggression against Palestinians especially after the latest Gaza war. Bella Hadid, a vocal advocate for the Palestinian cause and a critic of Israeli policies, has been the face of Dior Beauty since 2016. However, in a promotional video for the brand’s new perfume La Collection Privee from its holiday collection, May Tager was prominently featured, suggesting her new role as the campaign’s leader.

While Dior has not issued an official statement regarding the change, the move has raised questions about the brand’s stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Bella Hadid’s outspoken support for Palestine, including her condemnation of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, has made her a prominent figure in the debate.
