Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Calvin Harris deactivated his Twitter account because Taylor Swift played This Is What You Came For at Eras Tour….

In a recently recirculated interview from October 2016 with British GQ, Scottish record producer Calvin Harris explained why he “snapped” back in July 2016 after it was revealed that Swift secretly co-wrote Harris’ hit “This Is What You Came For” under a pseudonym. Once the news broke, Harris launched a string of (since-deleted) angry tweets, claiming that Swift was trying to “tear” him down.

“It was completely the wrong instinct,” Harris told the outlet, reflecting on the incident. “I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled. It felt like things were piling on top of me and that was when I snapped.”

The 33-year-old — who released his fifth studio album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 today (June 30) — previously said in a separate British GQ interview from September 2016 that the media attention attached to his relationship with Swift was difficult for him to handle.
