National Hockey League bans the display of rainbow colored Pride Tape on players’ sticks — a pathetic attempt to pander to “Don’t Say Gay” Republicans

BREAKING: In a stunning display of bigotry, the National Hockey League bans the display of rainbow colored Pride Tape on players’ sticks — a pathetic attempt to pander to “Don’t Say Gay” Republicans.

The disgusting anti-LGBTQ decision was made by the NHL’s Board of Governors. The tape will be banned in games, warm-ups, and even in practices.

The announcement is being slammed by The You Can Play Project, a group that works “to ensure the safety and inclusion for all who participate in sports, including LGBTQ+ athletes, coaches and fans.”

They’ve released a response saying: “Making decisions to eradicate our visibility in hockey – by eliminating symbols like jerseys and now Pride Tape – immediately stunts the impact of bringing in more diverse fans and players.”

Clearly, the homophobia that now controls the Republican Party is starting to corrupt our entire society.

We all need to stand up and condemn this hatred before it spreads further.
