Luis Campos ruled out the idea of signing Jude Bellingham for PSG earlier this summer.
The French star has shown already that he has the capability of being a top talent in the sport and will likely reach Bellingham’s current level in the near future but right now, the Real Madrid star is well clear of the 17-year-old.
Indeed, according to the regional daily, the PSG recruitment advisor was approached last year by one of Warren Zaire-Emery’s representatives, concerned about the confidence that would be placed in his player and a possible arrival of the Englishman at the club. Without using pretenses, the Portuguese would have been categorical, indicating that WZE was quite simply “a talent of the caliber” of Bellingham. Finally, Campos was able to put words into action since the Parisian titi was given implacable confidence by Christophe Galtier (26 L1 matches), then Luis Enrique at the start of the season with 4 starts during the first 4 days.

Realistically PSG did not have any chance to sign Bellingham this summer ahead of Madrid and the English clubs and it feels like Campos is trying to hide that fact behind this belief as it is a silly one.
