After a rollercoaster three weeks in the I’m A Celebrity camp, Nigel Farage is potentially less than 24 hours away from being crowned King of the Jungle.
Farage joins Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew as this year’s final three ahead of Sunday’s grand finale after Josie Gibson was eliminated on Saturday evening.
The 51-year-old had interfered with the cooking methods of Big Brother star Gibson after he relinquished his role as camp chef.
Speaking about the spat, Gibson said: “Fred is a trained chef so it’s got to be hard for him… and sorry Fred, but everyone preferred my food.”
Also in the episode, former Ukip leader Farage said he had chosen the name “Disruptor” for the Celebrity Cyclone challenge as he has spent his “whole life disrupting things.”
All four camp mates were hit with water jets and giant balls during the challenge, which saw them given the task of collecting stars while dressed as superheroes.
Despite facing boycott calls and sparking airtime debates, Farage’s popularity and the support from fans has shone through and silenced the naysayers.
His time in the jungle hasn’t been short of talking points – from Brexit rows with Fred Siriex to baring his bottom on air.
