Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Kodak Black released on $75k bond after being arrested for coke possession before performing at the CENA 2K23 festival in Florida.
Kodak Black was sentenced to a 30-day drug rehab earlier this year after missing a drug test in February and testing positive for fentanyl several days later, according to court records.
The singer’s lawyer suggested during a hearing that an impressed drug lab technician may have mixed up the sample or paperwork. The technician who collected the sample admitted that this was possible. But when the judge suggested the singer get a hair test, the defense refused. A hair test can detect drug use as far back as 90 days, compared to the few days that urine and blood tests typically catch.
Rapper Kodak Black was arrested this Wednesday morning (7) in Broward County, Florida, in the United States. According to local American newspapers, the rapper was caught at a traffic stop with cocaine in his car. Kodak Black was also accused of tampering with evidence. A mugshot of the artist is already circulating on social media.
In June, the rapper was arrested after police issued a warrant stating that the rapper missed a drug test that was a condition of bail for another crime the rapper was found guilty of.
Kodak Black , whose legal name is Bill Kapri , failed to show up for a drug test on June 9. Kapri was arrested last July on charges of trafficking oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. He was released on $75,000 bail, and regular drug testing was a condition of his release.
