According to information, there’s serious outrage in Germany after Detlef Gürth got fined €18k for racist statements towards Afghan
The CDU politician and former President of the State Parliament Detlef Gürth has received a penalty order for incitement from the district court in Aschersleben (Salzland district). The judiciary is thus punishing statements made by Gürth after the fatal knife attack in Wolmirstedt (Börde district). “This pack must get out of Germany,” the 62-year-old wrote in June on the short message service X with reference to Afghan refugees. A spokesman for the Halle public prosecutor’s office told the MZ on Thursday that the Aschersleben district court had imposed a fine of 90 daily rates of 200 euros each on Gürth on October 29, a total of 18,000 euros. “The conviction is not yet final,” said the spokesman. “Mr. Gürth has two weeks after delivery in which to file an appeal.”
