Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Boycott in the air as Tyson Foods sacked 1200 American employees at its pork plant in Perry, Iowa, a town of 8,147 people while reportedly seeking to fill factory positions with 52,000 illegals.
The announcement came after Tyson announced on Monday that it would close a plant in Perry, Iowa, that had about 1,200 employees amid a drop in demand for some products, according to Reuters. Tyson has shut down six plants in the past year.

Immigration remains a key political issue ahead of the November presidential election, as the United States has seen an uptick in asylum seekers crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.
The company announced this week it is seeking to hire some of the thousands of asylum seekers who have arrived in New York City, Scripps News reported. The program could alleviate headaches for city leaders, who have voiced concerns about the migrant population growth straining city resources. It would offer these migrants a job that pays $16.50 per hour in addition to other benefits such as legal aid, child care, and temporary housing.
According to Bloomberg, Tyson Foods has created a database of tens of thousands of migrant workers that they plan to replace American workers with. They even recently had a job fair for them while Tyson’s former workers in Perry, Iowa are jobless.Â
If that wasn’t enough – Tyson Foods has also set aside millions of dollars that will be used to pay the migrants’ legal bills, as well as provide housing, on-site child care, transportation and even paid time off to attend court hearings!Â
I’m sure the 1,200 workers that make up Perry’s 8,000 population would have enjoyed those perks.
