“Carol Vorderman should leave BBC” – Christopher Biggins has called for Carol to be fired ‘Shouldn’t be in the job!’
Christopher Biggins has called for BBC presenter Carol Vorderman to leave the broadcaster, after calling out MP Greg Hands on social media platform X.
Vorderman had posted a series of posts, claiming Greg Hands was involved in a lifestyle firm being awarded a £25.8million PPE contract in 2020.
Appearing on Dan Wootton Tonight, the TV personality criticised the comments made by Vorderman and questioned free speech.
Dan Wootton asked Biggins: “She’s got to go, doesn’t she? After this?”
Christopher replied: “I couldn’t agree more. And nowadays we’re in a situation where none of us can say anything, so you have to really think about what you’re saying.
The 68-year-old American model and TV personality appeared in the seventh series of the ITV show in 2007, finishing runner-up to Biggins.
She is now returning for an all-stars series in South Africa, which has already been recorded.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain alongside Shaun Ryder, another contestant in the upcoming series, she hit back at the performer.
