The Houston Police Department is searching for more information regarding a shooting early Sunday morning in the Midtown neighborhood, where one man was killed and another was injured. READ MORE HERE
Police said officers responded to a report of a fatal shooting at 305 Hadley Street — an area known for its nightlife — at around 1:05 a.m. Sunday. According to police, two men were out with friends when they confronted another man who was seen breaking into vehicles nearby.
During the confrontation, the man seen breaking into the vehicles shot the other two men and fled the scene, according to police. Officers described the suspected shooter as a Black man with yellow- or gold-tipped locks who is approximately 5-foot-8 and was wearing all-black clothing.
The second victim has been identified only as a 24-year-old man. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition after the shooting, according to police.
