Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that footballer, Amara Kamara, is dead after being diagnosed with spinal cord injury
17-year-old Amara Kamara of Black Man Warriors has sadly passed away.
He got injured on January 8 during a match against Bea Mountain at D-Tweh Field. After the injury, Amara was taken to multiple hospitals, where he was diagnosed with a spinal cord injury that needed surgery. READ MORE HERE
Plans were made to take him to Ghana for treatment, but delays in booking and other challenges forced them to try traveling by road. Amara tragically died on the way, along with his mother and club officials.
He was a rising star, having played in the U17 Helsinki Tournament in Finland.
