Serious incident in Petah Tikva: A father and son were arrested last night after allegedly attacking their neighbor and trying to kidnap and strangle her dog – claiming that it was disturbing their peace with repeated barking. READ MORE HERE
According to the police, the main suspect, a 62-year-old city resident, attacked his neighbor on Pines Street and tried to take her dog by force while threatening to kill it. He was later joined by his son, 31, who tried to help him kidnap the dog.
The dog’s owner was injured in the incident and was taken to Beilinson Hospital in minor condition. Police arrested the father and son, and after their interrogation, they were jailed. After the holiday, the police will request an extension of their detention.
