WEDDING: “It’s fake news” – Family denied rumors of Babar Azam getting married in November.

Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, stays in the limelight for his wondrous cricketing achievements. However, on Monday, the right-handed batsman was trending on social media due to circulating rumors regarding his marriage.

Rumors suggested that the 28-year-old will marry soon after the ODI World Cup scheduled in October-November this year. A social media fan page shared the development on Twitter.

“Babar Azam is set to marry in November after the WorldCup,” the post said.

Earlier this year, in February, while responding to a reporter’s question about his marriage, Babar said, “I am waiting to be married,” saying that his fans should also wait alongside him.

Babar is currently the top-ranked ODI batter with 886 points. Kohli is ranked ninth with 705 points.
The Pakistan captain is also ranked third in T20I cricket and fourth in Test cricket, making him the only top five players in all formats – Test, ODI, and T20I.

However, while talking to Cricket Pakistan correspondent, a member of Babar’s family refuted all the rumors. He confirmed that there’s no hurry for his marriage, as Babar’s current focus is on cricket.

He further added that Babar’s top priority is to elevate the graph of the Pakistan team’s successes with his performance. And the fans will have to wait for at least a year to see their hero in the groom’s attire.

Babar’s management company, Saya Corporation, also rubbished the wedding rumours via post on social media platform X, which the Pakistan captain also reposted.
