Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Mac G and Naledi Monamodi are engaged as engagement takes place on stage during his Roadto1million show, at the Sunbet Arena.
He also spoke about how proud he was to be sharing the moment with all the people he loved, referring to all the Chillers – the name given to his adoring fans, who came to show their support and packed the arena on all sides.
He then took a knee and popped the question to Monamodi, who was surprised to say the least.
The two shared an intimate moment while both kneeling on the floor and shedding a few tears. Their son Ziggy also seemed to be overjoyed that his father had popped the question, as he happily paced the floor. The proposal was met with resounding cheers from the crowd and a resounding yes from his bride-to-be.
MacG asked his long-time partner Naledi to marry him in front of scores of people on Sunday night.
The Podcast and Chill: Road to 1-million live event at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria was filled with chillers, many of whom have been loyal supporters of the podcast since it launched.
When MacG got on stage to say a word or two, he can be heard in a video that has since gone viral explaining who was his day one, with Naledi and their son standing with him.
“Before all of this happened, there was a lady by my side, who stood next to me and told me, ‘Baby, you can do this!’ She told me, ‘Baby, there’s no-one else who can do this,’” he said.
The engagement happened during his Roadto1million show, at the Sunbet Arena on Sunday July 30, where he celebrated the milestone of reaching 1 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, where his fans go to watch his bi-weekly podcast episodes.
