Ken Pela of LP WON his Appeal Case to Continue at the Governorship Tribunal in Delta

Ken Pela of LP WON his Appeal Case to Continue at the Governorship Tribunal in Delta.

The gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) at the March 18, 2023, elections in Delta State, Mr. Ken Pela, has just won his appeal case filed in the Court of Appeal in Asaba.
Court documents obtained by ParallelFacts Media show that Mr. Pela filed an appeal court case against the Delta State Tribunal, challenging its decision to throw out his petition against INEC and the declared winner of the elections, the candidate of the PDP.

Mr. Pela’s case at the tribunal was initially thrown out due to technicalities, which led him to file the case in the appeal court against the tribunal judgment.

The implication of today’s judgment does not mean the Labour Party candidate from Delta State, Ken Pela, has been declared the governor at the Court of Appeal today, as is currently being circulated.

The victory today at the Court of Appeal was only interlocutory, which means he will head back to the tribunal panel sitting at Delta to continue his case.

Ken Pela is an economist and investment banker seeking to liberate and revive Delta State through his labour Party gubernatorial mandate pending the final ruling as Deltans are waiting to hear.

“Supreme court should also do the right thing when it comes finally judgement, Deltans wailed.

The Court of Appeal on Thursday granted the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Delta State, Ken Pela approval to return to the Delta State Election Tribunal to continue his petition challenging the election of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
