Buju BNXN clarifies viral video about alleged assault in South Africa

Popular Nigerian singer Daniel Benson, better known as Buju BNXN addresses conversations online about an alleged attack in Cape Town, South Africa.

A video circulating on social media shows a visibly frustrated Buju sharing his ordeal after reportedly being punched in the face on the street. The clip, filmed by a bystander, captures the Gwagwalada crooner surrounded by individuals trying to restrain him.

In the footage, Buju approached the bystander’s car, supposedly calling to them for support in what looks like an imminent fight. The concerned bystander expressed shock, questioning why the artist was targeted by what he referred to as “Cape Town boys.”

While fans and supporters voiced their concerns online, calling for clarity about the incident and emphasizing the need for the singer’s safety, BNXN addressed the claim.

In a video on his Instagram story, the singer labelled it as a false claim while showing his face to debunk the claims of being punched.

In his words, “Shey I look like person wey dem punch? All these pussies can’t do none of those shit.”
