A pair of Twitch streamers stopped what they were doing to investigate a fiery car wreck, phoning police and even checking to see if the driver was alright.
Twitch streamer NotQuiteLikeDub was driving his Tesla Cybertruck with a buddy on the evening of May 28, 2025 when they spotted a car that had seemingly wrecked on a carpool acceleration lane merging onto the highway.
Instantly, Dub suggested they pull over, and quickly jumped out of the truck to assess the scene.
What they saw was a silver four-door sedan that had gotten crunched against the concrete barrier of the lane, with debris scattered across the road and a small section of the front bumper on fire.
Twitch streamer NotQuiteLikeDub, who boasts over 89K followers, is being lauded for jumping into action after spotting a car wreck while driving.

Worried for the driver’s safety, Dub opened the sedan’s rear passenger door and asked if he was alright. Viewers could make out the back of the driver’s head as he shifted position before Dub urged his cameraman not to film them out of respect for their privacy.
Another good Samaritan stopped and called police, helping Dub who was also on the line with law enforcement in an attempt to get emergency aid to the driver as fast as possible.
Going back to his Cybertruck to get a flashlight, Dub claimed that the “whole left side” of the driver’s face was “hanging off,” saying the sight had “traumatized” him.
Luckily, the victim was alive and responsive. After working with the stranger to help slow down oncoming traffic — as some cars nearly didn’t slow down in time as they couldn’t see the crashed vehicle — Dub said he was determined to stay and ensure the driver got help.
“Not gonna lie, I can’t do no human like that,” he admitted. “We’re covered by God, bro.”
After doing their best to flash their lights at oncoming vehicles, emergency services finally arrived, allowing the streamers and the stranger to part ways with friendly handshakes.
“We just saved a life,” Dub remarked.
Viewers online were impressed by the streamers’ quick action, with one writing on Reddit: “Good on them to stop and check.”
“The streamer/cameraman played with the idea of just leaving, but the streamer literally says he ‘couldn’t do another human like that’ and decides to stay until the ambulance arrives. Decent people at worst IMO,” another wrote.
“I’d be surprised if even 1 out of 20 people would stop in a situation like this, so this can only be excellence in my mind,” yet another said.
This isn’t the first time a streamer has caught a car accident during a live broadcast; in 2022, Twitch streamer Castro was in a taxi when a car crashed into another vehicle in the road right in front of him.
