Netflix is taking viewers “behind the streams” for a sneak peak at upcoming movies and shows, so here’s how and why you should watch Tudum 2025 this weekend.
Netflix has a bumper slate of content beaming into homes during the second half of 2025 and on into 2026, with new shows launching, beloved series’ concluding, and big-budget films dropping.
The Tudum event is expected to debut fresh footage from the likes of Wednesday, Squid Game, Stranger Things, One Piece, and Emily in Paris.
While there will be teasers, trailers, and clips from forthcoming movies Frankenstein, Happy Gilmore 2, and Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. So here’s what to expect…
What is Tudum 2025?
Tudum 2025 is a live event showcasing the biggest and best content that Netflix is streaming over the next few months. So think of it as a small-screen Comic-Con dedicated to one channel’s output.
Tudum is happening live onstage at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, with actress Sofia Carson (My Oxford Year, The Life List) hosting, and introducing guests from the world of TV and film.
There’s also live music, with Lady Gaga singing, as well as Indian hip-hop star Hanumankind performing (see video below).
The official synopsis says: “Celebrate your favorite shows and movies at this star-studded, live global fan event with special performances and exclusive reveals.”
