How to stream 28 Days Later for free
Horror fans, get ready – 28 Days Later is currently streaming on PlutoTV for free with ads. However, it’s only available for US viewers, meaning you’ll need a VPN to access it from anywhere else.
Once you have one, just change your location to the US, sign up for an account on the platform, and start streaming. Not only can you get live TV on there, but there’s a hefty back catalog of other movies and TV shows once you’re done, so it’s worth the effort.
The movie was added to the streaming service about a week ago as of writing, seemingly ending years of not being available due to rights issues involving Disney and Sony.
For 28 Weeks Later, there’s a bit of a different story. It’s streaming on Hulu, so if you don’t have an account, you’ll have to sign up for the platform’s seven-day free trial. The basic plan of Hulu with ads costs $7.99 per month, with Hulu without ads costing around $10 a month.
It remains to be seen if (or when) 28 Years Later will join the ranks on streaming, with its theatrical rollout expected to last for at least three weeks. The new movie is currently listed on Apple TV+ as “coming soon,” so keep your eyes peeled for upcoming buying and rental options.
28 Years Later hits screens on June 20, 2025, and will be followed by sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple on January 16, 2026.
