A prominent member of the South African ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC), comrade Nathi Sithole has lamented the approach which the African National Congress (ANC) has taken with regards to the coalition discussions. In recent times, there has been a great deal of talk about coalition government, because most of South African political parties have failed to win outright majority.
Hence now, they are trying to form coalition government, in an effort to try to govern in some parts of the country. In the meanwhile, comrade Nathi Sithole has taken to social media platform, particularly Twitter, to indicate that majority of ANC branches will never agree to coalition with the Democratic Alliance.
Comrade Nathi Sithole on his official Twitter account said, “We are not happy with the approach of the ANC in this coalition discussions as this makes the mockery of ANC branches, majority of ANC branches will never agree to coalition with the DA, we believe coalitions should be based on ideology and common agenda, the DA is our enemy”
