In recent years, the phrase ‘clever Blacks’ has been used quite extensively in South Africa, particularly in the world of politics. However, it is not exactly known what constitutes clever Blacks. People who usually uses the phrase, rarely give full explanation of the phrase. And it is no exaggeration to assertively state here that, many South African people have heard the phrase being thrown around.
Right now, a well-known South African politician, Tony Yengeni, who is also a prominent member of the South African ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC), has also used the now famously known ” Clever Blacks”. Well, the African National Congress veteran member, Tony Yengeni was responding to a tweet when he made reference to the “Clever Blacks”. Well, the ANC veteran made some startling claims that the clever Blacks do not know that they’re slaves.
