When actors and actresses are changed over time, it is difficult for those who love the former actor or actress to easily welcome the new one.
This isn’t any different with the ‘Thabo Maputla’ character. The character was formally played by Cornet Mamabolo and is currently being played by Hungani Ndlovu.
Those who watched Cornet play this character and loved seeing him grow with the storyline are finding it hard to welcome Hungani with ‘open arms’.
Some have alluded to the fact that Cornet as Tbose spoke Sepedi 95% of the time, whereas the new Tbose being played by Hungani speaks English, has an American accent and his Sepedi does not sound like that of Cornet.
With that being said, Cornet took to Twitter after Hungani’s debut on Skeem Saam to encourage him.

The thing that most people need to understand is that, the character belongs to the one who created the story. Not the actor who is hired to play that character.
Hungani will definitely play this character brilliantly, as he is an awesome actor. Soon enough, he will win over the hearts of many as the new Thabo Maputla.
