Skeem Saam is a South African soap opera created by Winnie Serite and broadcast on SABC1 since 2011. The show is set in Johannesburg and Turfloop. It rose to fame since it arrived, competing with Generations. A majority youth-centered show, Skeem Saam is a SABC Education production. It has been running for 10 seasons. In January 2021, the SABC announced that the show would go on a production break starting on 1 March 2021 due to a massive decline in viewership.

Yesterday’s episode of Skeem Saam left people emotional after Pitsi got shot by Bushang one of Magongwa’s sons. This happened after Magogwa’s eldest son found the gun that was buried in their yard by Rathebe Magongwa’s girlfriend the police officer who is suspected to be the Turfloof serial killer.
After Magongwa’s eldest son saw Rathabe digging in their yard, he went there to check what she was digging he then found the gun, took it out, and hid it in his room. Then Pitsi and Bushang found the gun and as they were playing with it, Bushang pulled out the trigger and shot Pitsi.
Then the police and paramedics were called for assistance Babeile the Turfloop police officer called Mapitsi to let her know what happened, and she got there only to find out her only son was shot, lucky enough he was still alive when they rushed him to the hospital. Below is what was posted:
After watching the emotional scene where Mapitsi fainted after seeing her son fighting for her life, People were left heartbroken someone even commented saying this is every parent’s worst nightmare.
Then another one commented saying I was so emotional I even cried today’s episode was so painful. In that part when Mapitsi & Meikie cried skeem saam deserves an award.
This is so painful to watch, Let’s hope this is not the end of Pitsi’s character on Skeem Saam because a lot of people love him.
