“Ramaphosa is the worst President, SA has ever had.” This post has left a stir in Twitter

Cyril Ramaphosa is the worst president South Africa has ever had; citizens yearn for apartheid during his tenure. The selection of Cyril Ramaphosa as president of South Africa is being viewed as a grave error, according to some. It appears that those individuals are envious of him because they are unable to be in his position.

Johannesburg (Reuters) President Cyril Ramaphosa led the African National Congress (ANC) to victory in Wednesday’s election, but a decline in the ANC’s share of the vote demonstrates the difficulty he confronts in restoring confidence in his party.

With opposition from the ANC and an emboldened far-left opposition party, it may be difficult for the former union leader-turned-business magnate to deliver on his promises to enact harsh reforms.

The earliest liberation movement in Africa won 57.5% of the vote in parliament. This was the party’s worst parliamentary performance since it seized power at the end of white minority rule, but it was an improvement over its performance in the 2016 local elections.

Following nomination by his party’s parliamentary caucus and an inauguration ceremony, Ramaphosa’s first complete term as president will begin later this month.

Ramaphosa said on Wednesday, after casting his vote in the township of Soweto where he grew up, “We’ve made mistakes, but we’re sorry for those mistakes, and we’re asking our people to reinvest their confidence in us.”

Throughout the campaign, he traversed the nation in an effort to convince disappointed voters to give the ANC another opportunity. Many are dissatisfied that, 25 years after the end of apartheid, enormous disparities in income and wealth persist between races.

“In this campaign, Ramaphosa was a game-changer for the ANC. According to ANC executive member Fikile Mbalula, voters have confidence in his ability to do the right thing.

According to some analysts, Ramaphosa will be able to fend off a prospective leadership challenge from his predecessor’s allies within the party if he wins the election.
