Mandoza’s eldest son Tokollo Tshabalala who is the product of his relationship with his widow Mpho Tshabalala was among the attendees during the launch of the upcoming biopic, Nkalakatha: The Life of Mandoza, which is about the life of the kwaito legend.
The upcoming biopic will premiere on Wednesday, 16 August 2023, at 21:00 in BET Africa’s (DStv 129) where award winning actor Wiseman Ncube will play the role of Mandoza, given name Mduduzi Tshabalala, who died on 18 September 2016 after losing his battle to cancer.
Now, Mandoza’s eldest son, Tokollo Tshabalala, who has returned to South Africa after building a life of his own abroad has taken to his official social media account where he documented a special moment which caught his attention during the launch of the upcoming biopic.

On Thursday evening, late kwaito star Mandoza’s eldest son Tokollo Tshabalala took to his Instagram account where he shared a series of photos where his talented younger brother Tumelo who is an aspiring rapper and whose stage name is Harry was captured performing during the launch of the upcoming biopic: Nkalakatha; The Life of Mandoza.
As part of his caption, Tokollo Tshabalala who is a spitting image of his late father and the late Nkalakatha hitmaker wrote, “Just a proud brother”.
On the day, Tokollo Tshabalala also took to popular platform where he shared a photo where he had the privilege of rubbing shoulders with award winning actor Wiseman Ncube who is best known for his role on soap opera Uzalo where he played the role of Sibonelo.
