The Inkatha Freedom Party leader, Velenkosini Hlabisa, has hinted that the party is in good shape.
Hlabisa is facing a motion of no confidence from some of the party members but he is unperturbed by that.
He hinted that the party has great visionaries and that is all that’s important ahead of the polls.
Some party members want the IFP to hold elections to select a new leader as they believe Hlabisa was chosen as the proxy.
Meanwhile Indonsa Yesizwe Think Tank is praying for the speedy recovery of the Zulu Traditional Prime Minister, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
The Founder of Indonsa Yesizwe, Professor Musa Xulu expressed the members’ heartfelt concerns about Buthelezi’s hospitalisation.
Buthelezi has served three successive Zulu kings and the Zulu Nation for over 70 years.
“He remains a role model for principled leadership. He was groomed by the likes of ANC founding president Dr John Langalibalele Dube, ANC founding intellectual Dr Pixley ka Isaka Seme and ANC modernising president Inkosi Albert Luthuli,” said Xulu.
“Buthelezi is much loved across the country and the globe for his life-long dedication to black empowerment in politics, social issues, and economic empowerment.
“He dearly loves education and intellectuality, and embraces nonracialism. He is a father to many; the cornerstone of the Zulu Kingdom. Buthelezi remains an example of principled leadership bedrock of the Christian faith. said Xulu.
