Political leaders in Zimbabwe need to learn from their colleagues from other developing countries where citizens, especially youths are valued and given the best opportunity to become better individuals in the society unlike Zimbabwe where corrupt practices is prevalent.
The situation keeps getting worse considering the rate at which citizens are suffering while politicians live luxurious lifestyle at the expense of nation’s wealth.
Economies that are afflicted by a high level of corruption—which involves the misuse of power in the form of money or authority to achieve certain goals in illegal, dishonest, or unfair ways—are not capable of prospering as fully as those with a low level of corruption.
In a recent development, pictures have emerged online showing the moment a Zimbabwean politician known as Raj Modi was seen empowering the youths of his constituency with bricks laying machine.
He took to his Twitter handle to announce the empowerment initiative but South Africans are not happy with it.
According to his exact statement on Twitter;
“Provided land & brick making machine to youths in my constituency to create employment and opportunities in a growing construction industry. So far we have employed 15 youths. It’s brick upon brick “.
