Information with regards to the funeral of the late Amapiano singer and DJ, Mbali Umshove has been released.
Mbali Umshove will be laid to rest in Eastern Cape on Saturday, August 5, The Daily Sun newspaper reported. The funeral service will commence at 10 o’clock.
Mbali Umshove, whose real name is Amahle Mash Ndluli, reportedly died on Monday, July 24 at the age of 27. Her memorial service was held in Maboneng, Johannesburg on Wednesday 26 July.
Sizzle, a friend of the late musician, described her as dedicated to her craft.
“I am so thankful that I got to love you from day one to the end. I could write a book about our journey from the first day I met you. It’s been an amazing six years of my life with you. We grew together. I am so proud of who you have become. Your dedication was on another level. long life. May your beautiful soul find perfect peace. I love you,” she wrote.
Her mother, Kholeka Mevana, said she was devastated by her death. She said she wants to celebrate her daughter because she loved fun and music.
“My child died and I am so hurt, but I will always remember all the good things she did. She always made us dance at home with my brothers and sisters,” Kholeka said.
The cause of her death remains unclear and the family is still awaiting the autopsy report.
The musician’s life was also celebrated at a memorial event at the Luxee Lounge in Maboneng, Joburg on Wednesday 26 July. At the time of her death, she was working on an upcoming project. The Konka hit singer also has international gigs.
Her friends and industry colleagues came out to support Mwane’s family at the memorial service. At the memorial, her friends praised her and her love for the music business, adding that she should rest in peace. On Saturday, 05 August they will be the day of the star’s sent-off.
